Tisha B'av

Tisha B'av - The saddest day on the Jewish calendar. It is the date when both our Holy Temples were destroyed, and exile, persecution and spiritual blackness began. A couple of laws to keep in mind for this mournful day: refrain from eating and drinking, bathing, wearing shoes that contain leather, marital relations and regular Torah study.
